Today has been quite the day of traveling. It all started last night though!
We left Dallas National Golf Club at 5:30pm. We finally quit driving west through Texas at 1:00am in a little town called Van Horn. Population: 17?
We spent $60 on a room at the Days Inn. We slept for 7 hours and were just about to get back on Interstate 10 when this lady came up to us and asked if we could help roll her Acura sedan up on to this trailer. I don't know what we were doing wrong but we never got that car to roll forward one inch. Ironically, her husband/friend/some other dude that was trying to help her was a retired PGA professional. Go figure.
So we started driving. We did 7 hours last night followed by 9 hours today. About 1000 miles total. We have now gone over 3500 miles on the trip.
We arrived in Scottsdale just as the sun was setting, actually we are staying at a house in Paradise Valley. Thank you to the Hays family (Ridgewood members) for hosting us tonight and for taking us to a wonderful dinner at Paradise Valley Country Club!
We are all set for Desert Forest Golf Club tomorrow morning at 8:30am. Right after, I will rush Mike down to the Phoenix airport so he can fly to Orlando for the PGA show. I will then head to Palm Springs, where it is supposed to be 80 degrees the next few days!!!
Thank you lord!
No pictures tonight, sorry.
Thanks for reading, even if it was just a short update tonight.

PS...the grass is green here and it's glorious.
